Route

Everything is 100% tailored to you
DAY 1

Arrive in Italy

Head to the airport today, speed through security and relax in the airport lounge before your short two-hour flight to Venice. When you arrive, you’ll be privately transferred to the Dolomite’s Fassa Valley, a journey that takes around three hours. Upon arrival, check straight into your stylish alpine hotel nestled in the heart of the valley and settle down just in time for dinner. Think traditional Italian dishes and a wonderful local wine – a tantalising taster of what’s to come.

DAY 2

Hike through the Dolomites’ Fassa Valley

A hearty hotel breakfast will give you plenty of fuel for today’s hike to your next hotel in Fuciade Basin, Fassa Valley. After meeting your friendly local guide, a short transfer will take you to the starting point in Alba, a quaint hamlet in the alpine resort of Canazei. The hike is just under seven miles and four-to-five hours long. You’ll walk along craggy paths, winding through the mountain’s valley and passing storybook meadows. With your guide leading the way, you can simply soak in the irresistible Italian landscape.

When you arrive at your next hotel, nestled in the Fuciade basin, you’ll find your bags have already arrived, having been delivered ahead of you by private transfer. Your only worries will be pondering over which of the farm-to-table dishes to choose from on the hotel’s delicious dinner menu. With full bellies and tired feet, you’ll have no problem falling asleep within the silence of the mountains.

DAY 3

Explore the Fuciade basin

Once you’ve indulged in today’s breakfast, you’ll meet your guide and start to explore the surrounding Fuciade basin. During the next five to six hours, you’ll discover what makes the Dolomite’s Fassa Valley so attractive during summer – ancient forests and even older mountains stand tall against the bright blue sky. Your guide will be there to show you around the area and answer any burning questions. After completing your hike, take a two-hour private transfer to Val Gardena. The next elegant, mountainside hotel is ready to be checked into and will serve you a delicious dinner after another busy day.

DAY 4

Hike from Gardena Pass to Puez-Odle Nature Park

Your third hike of the holiday once again starts after breakfast, where you’ll meet your guide and be transferred a short distance to Gardena Pass. At a height of 7,000ft, this mountain pass offers spectacular views along its many hikes. You’ll be taking on the nine-mile route to Puez-Odle Nature Park, where eagles, deer and marmots thrive among the trees, rocks and grass. Tonight’s stay is in another cosy alpine-style hotel in Corvara, where you’ll find your bags waiting and a cosy restaurant where you can enjoy a well-earned feast. You’ll want to be raising a glass to the mountains, as tonight’s your last night in the Dolomites.

DAY 5

Flight home

Today sadly marks the end of your adventure through the Dolomites. Your feet will have some much-needed rest as you enjoy a final breakfast and one last look at the incredible views, before taking a private transfer from Corvara to Venice Airport for your two-hour flight home. Ciao Italy!
