When To Travel
All of the holidays we create are completely tailor-made to you
Day 1: Start in Windhoek
On arrival into Windhoek - the Namibian capital - you'll be met and transferred to your hotel for the night. You can either take the evening to relax, or head our into the city to soak up the vibe and start your adventure.

Day 2: A Scenic Flight South to Sossusvlei
The next stop on your fly-in safari is iconic Sossusvlei, a salt and clay pan that sits in the south of the Namib Desert, surrounded by red dunes.
Your destination is a luxury lodge with its own airstrip so that you can arrive right into the heart of the action. The flight only takes one-hour-and-fifteen minutes and you'll want to make sure to have your camera ready as the views of the landscapes below as you fly are amazing.
Settle into your surroundings with a delicious supper and have the first evening here to yourself to enjoy a spot of pampering followed by some stargazing. After heading to the spa for a pampering treatment to relax, pop over to the onsite observatory to spend time with an astronomer. The lodge borders a Dark Sky Reserve, so the stargazing here is second to none.
Day 3: Wildlife and Desert Landscapes
There are few landscapes so dramatic as the giant dunes of Sossusvlei. These towering, rust-coloured sand dunes are even more amazing in stark contrast with the deep blue sky and the striking silhouettes of the dead tree skeletons that dot the horizon. You'll have the whole day to enjoy your incredible surroundings, either on foot or by quad bike.
While out exploring, you may be pleasantly surprised to find that the oldest desert on earth is not the barren wasteland that you may have assumed. Your guide will teach you about the creatures big and small that call the Namib Desert home, and how this harsh environment came to exist. They can show you how to find and identify everything from small dancing white lady spiders and bat-eared foxes to oryx and Hartmann's mountain zebras.
After a full day of exploring and learning, you can enjoy another well-earned supper and more stargazing with your guide before getting a good night's sleep. Tomorrow is the start of an incredible adventure.
Days 4-6: Skeleton Coast Flying Safari
The next three days will see you enjoy one of the most incredible safari experiences imaginable - a flying safari along Namibia's Skeleton Coast.
Although the flight is a bespoke experience, across these three days you can expect to follow the Skeleton Coast north towards Kunene, passing by Swakopmund, Conception Bay - where you'll get a bird's eye view of the famous Eduard Bohlen shipwreck - Terrace Bay and the Skeleton Coast Park.
The wilderness that you'll have the privilege of seeing along the way is truly spectacular. You'll fly past the colony of Cape fur seals at Cape Cross and enjoy a seaside picnic lunch before making your way east across the desert towards the moon-like landscapes of the Ugab formations - black ridges that contrast with the white of the desert - which is an even more incredible sight from the air.
On your Skeleton Coast flying safari you will also spend a night in the Huab River Valley where you can either simply sit back and relax or head out to see the nearby rock art. Although this is a flying experience at heart, there are also some excellent 4x4 drives which you can take, such as through the landscape of vibrant red lava and yellow sandstone around the Huab River.
Along the way, your guide will talk you through the ecology of the region, including its endemic Welwitschia Mirabilis plant which has evolved to suit the harsh desert conditions, and which experts estimate can live for up to 1,500 years.
Hopping back into your plane for a flight up the coast towards Terrace Bay in Skeleton Coast Park, you should look out as you fly over the shipwrecks along this part of the coast, including the Montrose and Henrietta. Also on the cards is a trip to the multicoloured beach to see the bleached whale bones that are scattered along the sand before heading back to the aircraft for the final flight of the Skeleton Coast flying safari, which heads north to the Hoarusib Valley in the Kunene Region.
On arrival, settle down and relax for the rest of the evening and soak up the scenic views and atmosphere of this remote region in the far north-west of Namibia on the border with Angola.
Days 7-8: North to the Remote Kunene River
Today you begin exploring this new destination on your Sossusvlei, Skeleton Coast and Kunene fly-in safari - the Kunene River. This region is sensationally beautiful, with sand dunes neighbouring a freshwater river making for a stark contrast.
The Kunene River is the only water source in the surrounding area, meaning that - in the company of an expert guide - there is plenty of wildlife to spot here, whether it's tenebrionid beetles, lesser masked weavers, chameleons, lizards and snakes, or huge gemsboks, springboks, crocodiles and Goliath herons. You can take both day and night game drives as well as walks and quad bike safaris, and even boat trips on the river if you're here in the right season. After all the activities, this place is also all about relaxation. With nothing else around for miles and miles, you're truly away from it all and able to reconnect with wild nature at its best.

Day 9: Make Your Way to Windhoek
Leave the coast behind today and take a short flight (around three hours) back to Windhoek.
Spend one final night in Namibia in a beautiful lodge with an excellent spa to add some indulgent pampering to finish off your fly-in safari to Sossusvlei, the Skeleton Coast and Kunene.
Day 10: Fly Home
Your trip sadly ends today, so take a transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.
