All of the holidays we create are completely tailor-made to you

This sample itinerary is intended to give you a flavour of what we can do

Day 1: Arrive

After your flight lands in the Seychelles, you will be met and whisked away to the tranquillity of your first island retreat.

Once checked in, kick your shoes off and head straight to the pool or the beach for a refreshing swim and some long overdue sunshine. The rest of the day is then yours to spend as you please; though we suggest lazily settling in and enjoying several leisurely meals, with a sundowner cocktail thrown in for good measure too.

Day 2: Explore Mahe

Wake up to the sound of birds singing and the waves in the distance this morning. Then, get up for breakfast in the sun before a day of exploring.

We suggest hiring a car and using it to get around the island at your own pace. Awash with beautiful beaches and rich culture, Mahe is often missed by tourists who just stay overnight, but, with a car you'll discover all manner of gems hidden on this 59 square mile island.

Perhaps start with a visit to the tiny capital 'city' of Victoria, then drive to the south of the island to find the beautiful Anse Takamaka beach ('anse' means beach). Spend a good chunk of time here, exploring and walking on the sand and afterwards enjoy a nearby distillery tour at Takamaka Rum distillery. This is one of our favourite places to visit in Mahe and provides not only the opportunity to try some world class rum (for the non-driver, obviously) but is also the ideal place to purchase a souvenir which you can enjoy at home.

Day 3: More Mahe

With sun, sea and sand aplenty it's easy to spend a day doing very little here, and that's exactly what we suggest for today.

Dip in and out of the turquoise waters and feel the sand between your toes as you stroll along the beach. You'll also want to take some time out of the sun to enjoy a leisurely lunch - the flavourful creole cuisine and fresh seafood on offer in the Seychelles is excellent.

Additional Activities

  • Guided hikes
  • Snorkelling trips

Day 4: To La Digue

Say goodbye to Mahe this morning as you are transferred back to the airport to board a very short (we're talking 20 minutes) flight to Praslin Island.

From there it's a 15-minute boat journey to the even more remote to La Digue Island, your base for the next three nights. As you make the journey over to the island look out for the granite boulders that La Digue is so famous for.

Then, once you've checked in, head to the spa and check back out (metaphorically speaking!) during a relaxing and pampering treatment. By the time you're done sunset will be just around the corner so head to the bar and prepare to watch the colourful display with an equally colourful cocktail.

Day 5-6: Exploring the Island

Over the next two days you're free to explore the island at your own pace, so whether you want to cram it with activity or simply spend it sunbathing and getting stuck into a good book then both are eminently possible.

Wherever you fall on the active spectrum, we would always suggest spending one day exploring the island on bikes. Your hotel will have these available to rent and they are by far the best way to get around since much of the island is inaccessible by car. Avoid planning your day too much as there are countless little beaches and local settlements you might like to stop at, but do make sure you make time to visit Anse Source D'Argent, the most famous beach in the Seychelles, with its iconic granite boulders.

Day 7: To Praslin

After a couple of days on La Digue Island, it's time for a change of scenery today. You can enjoy breakfast at your hotel before being transferred to the jetty and then taking a boat back to Praslin, where you'll be staying for three nights.

As you'll no doubt be discovering, life moves in the slow lane in the Seychelles, and in our opinion that relaxed island lifestyle is one of its highlights. So, spend today in pure relaxation mode on the beach. If you get itchy feet and want to stay a bit more active, try your hand at one of the many non-motorised water sports on offer or play a round of golf or tennis.

Day 8: Vallee-de-Mai

After plenty of beach time over the last week, today takes you away from the coast and instead into the lush Vallee-de-Mai Nature Reserve, at the centre of the island. A guide will collect you from your hotel and drive you to the heart of the reserve where you can begin exploring.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Vallee-de-Mai is a verdant paradise of prehistoric tropical forest. Due to the huge array of flora and fauna found here it is often referred to locally as the Garden of Eden, and your guide will be on hand to point out some of the more beautiful species as you walk. Two such species are the coco-de-mer palm, which grows in some of the largest numbers in the world here, and the black parrot, one of the world's rarest birds.

Hopefully suitably impressed and with some fantastic photos to boot, head back to your hotel for lunch, where you can discuss which were your favourite species and then spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 9: Last Day

The last day is here, so time to cram in as many hours in the sunshine as possible.

Top up your tan, finish the final chapters of your book, treat yourself to a spa treatment and totally over indulge in as many tasty treats as humanly possible.

Talking of tasty treats, for this evening we have planned a romantic private dining experience, to celebrate your final night and a fantastic (we hope!) holiday. Sit and sip on a bottle of fizz with the Indian Ocean crashing around you, candles lighting your secluded table, and an array of delicious seafood on your plate.

Additional Activities

  • Enjoy a visit to Curieuse Island and Marine National Park

Day 10: Home Time

Begin your journey back home. Depending on where you are flying to, you might have the morning to relax and be able to have one last long lazy lunch.

You will take a domestic flight to Mahe, and then continue on your journey with your international flight back to your home destination.
