Route

Everything is 100% tailored to you
DAY 1

International Flight

Begin your journey with an international flight to Belfast in Northern Ireland, most likely overnight, and via either London or Manchester.

DAY 2

Arrival to Belfast

Welcome to Belfast! Your driver is on hand to transfer you from the airport to your central Belfast hotel. Check in and relax after your long journey. This afternoon, take in a foodie walking tour around Belfast city centre - see the key sites of the city as you meet local producers and taste some of the region's finest dishes and local ingredients.

We would highly recommend dining at EIPIC, a Michelin starred restaurant with a head chef who trained at Claridges. This will need to be booked in advance.

DAY 3

Old Bushmills

This morning, depart with your driver-guide for the Old Bushmills Distillery, located on the Causeway Coast. The producers have been distilling whiskey for over 400 years and continue to use a traditional method to create some of Ireland's finest and most famous whiskey.

This afternoon ensure you check out the mystical Giant's Causeway, an extraordinary landscape of geometric basalt columns, while in the area.

If you haven't had your fill of drinking after your distillery tour (after all, you are in Ireland) The Crown is such a beautiful Victorian pub that it has been preserved by the National Trust.

DAY 4

Depart for Dublin

The journey from Belfast to Dublin is a mere two hours. En route, stop off in the famous Boyne Valley, known for its historical and archaeological sites but also its foodie connections (it won 'Irish Foodie Destination of the Year in 2016'). Visit the Hill of Tara, which is said to be the ancient seat of the High King of Ireland and the Newgrange megalithic tomb (which is older than the Great Pyramids at Giza) before enjoying lunch in one of the many restaurants who support the 'place on a plate' initiative where chefs use ingredients from approved Boyne Valley Artisan Producers. After your tour your driver-guide will transfer you to your Dublin hotel for check in.

DAY 5

Dublin Tour

Today, enjoy a foodie walking tour of Dublin with your local guide; the perfect way to see the key sights of the city while enjoying a taster of what Irish cuisine has to offer. Visit independent delis, meet local restaurant owners and sample the wares of artisan producers on this stroll through the heart of the city centre.

DAY 6

Castle Cookery

Enjoy a leisurely morning in your Dublin hotel before your driver will transfer you to a castle for a cookery class with a difference. Choose from a range of cuisines from traditional Irish through to sushi, you are sure to find something to whet your appetite!

This evening you could also have a traditional seachchai (storyteller) come to your hotel or nearby atmospheric pub, to teach you all about Irish folk stories and fairytales.

DAY 7

Ballymaloe

This morning check out of your hotel and depart for Cork, en route stop off at Ballymaloe Cookery School for a demonstration and garden tour. We would recommend staying at The Cliff House Hotel, the Michelin starred restaurant will delight epicureans and novices alike.

During your stay we can arrange a tour of the home and gardens of one of Ireland's most famous whiskey dynasties.

DAY 8

Explore Cork

Today, enjoy a walking tour of the city - including a visit to the famous English Market. Stop in for a coffee and cake or rest your feet in a traditional pub after seeing the sights. West Cork won Ireland's premier 'foodie destination' in 2017 so there is always something delicious to eat! This afternoon include a visit to Blarney Castle, located just 15 minutes from the centre of Cork.

DAY 9

Kinsale

Just south of Cork, you will find the charming and historic town of Kinsale. Situated between the hills and the harbour, Kinsale is the perfect place to wander around the quaint cobbled streets, try out the seafront gourmet restaurants (our favourite place for lunch is Fishy Fishy) and inspect the yachts moored in the harbour.

DAY 10

Flight Home

Today depart for your flight home, our driver is on hand to transfer you to Cork Airport for your connecting flight, most likely via London, back home.
