Where To Stay in Delhi

The Imperial

The majestic and imposing Imperial in Delhi offers the height of distinguished hospitality in the heart of the city.

The hotel reflects the grandeur of its heritage, with antique furniture and art elegantly decorating the interior alongside contemporary facilities and top-notch service. There are 235 bedrooms as well as 43 suites, each with unique designs, and all overlooking the vast gardens thanks to the hash-shaped structure of the building.

Cuisine at The Imperial is second to none, with a mouth-watering number of delectable delights from across the world. Traditional Indian, Italian, French and casual bistros make up the restaurants, offering diverse menus from some of the finest chefs. The historic 1911 bar and the Royal bar offer the most extensive wine list in the city as well as a wide range of cocktails, spirits and beers.

If you're after a more relaxing treat, the Imperial spa boasts some of the best Ayuverdic and international holistic treatments. This can be followed by a trip to the hair and beauty salon, or a visit to the health and racquet club alongside the stunning pool.

Why We Love It

The Imperial is a magnificent hotel housing some of the finest collections of art and artefacts in India, and offering top quality service.

The Lodhi

Located in the heart of New Delhi, The Lodhi is a luxurious boutique city hotel, exemplifying contemporary Indian culture.

The hotel has been built and beautifully crafted using modern architecture and stands tall in one of the most bustling areas of the city. However, inside its walls, The Lodhi is a tranquil place to relax in any of the 40 bedrooms and suites, which are amongst the largest in Delhi. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, dressing rooms and - to add to the opulent nature of the hotel - balconies with shaded plunge pools.

The restaurants and bars have recently re-launched with new menus serving fine Indian, Pan-Asian and other international cuisine. Dining options include outdoor and indoor, by the pool or in the cosy bar. A glassed jetty is also on offer for those wanting a private dining experience while still taking in the cosmopolitan views.

There is plenty to do for the more active, including swimming in the fabulous lap pool, plus tennis and squash courts. There is also a fully equipped gym, and New Delhi golf course is close by. For those seeking a more restful time, there's the chance to relax in the peace, space and serenity of the Lodhi Spa or to lounge by the plunge pool on your shady balcony.

Why We Love It

As befits what was once the Aman hotel in Delhi, The Lodhi is stylish, sophisticated and slick.
