Located in the South China Sea, the two island hideaways of Phu Quoc and Con Dao were once both prison islands. Today's inmates count themselves lucky to be able to enjoy peaceful sandy stretches, sky-blue waters and glorious sunsets away from the crowds. Phu Quoc is the larger of the two islands but its beaches and scenery are no less beautiful.
