Swedish Lapland: An Overview

The Northern Lights, dog-sledding and ice-driving are just snippets of what is on offer on Swedish Lapland adventure holidays. Pack a few extra layers and head north for a Swedish adventure in a true Narnia-esque landscape.

Swedish Lapland is the perfect short break adventure holiday destination. Only a few hours flight away, and do-able in 2 or 3 nights, the hard-hitting adventure seekers can rest easy in the knowledge that it is all at their finger tips.

Swedish Lapland has adventure activities for both the adrenaline junkie, and the slightly less daring amongst us. Popular activities include dog-sledding, snow-shoeing in search of the Northern Lights, driving on ice, and manoeuvring a snowmobile around the Luleå archipelago.

We can also arrange meetings with the local Sami people, or even organise a 3 course dinner - yes, on the ice - complete with candelabras, linen tablecloths and a crackling fire.

Swedish Lapland is not just for the winter, and when the ice melts in the summer there is still plenty to see and do. Kayaking, walking, sailing and fishing are all possibilities, and the setting is simply spectacular.
