Barbados is very much an island of two halves – the glitz and glamour of the west coast versus the wilder, more rugged east coast. And whichever of these options floats your boat for a Barbados honeymoon, we have the inside track on the best places to stay and things to do. If complete R&R is the order of the day then you've come to the right place; the Caribbean's laidback vibes (with a distinctly English twist in the case of Barbados) and picture-perfect beaches will make the stresses of the wedding process melt away. And if you do fancy injecting a bit of adventure into your honeymoon then there's plenty by way of water-based activities,
from sailing to snorkelling and deep sea fishing, to keep you occupied. One thing that tends to fly under the radar about Barbados is the quality of the food, with some seriously good restaurants dotted across the island; everything from fine dining in luxurious hotels to delightful local eateries. And while our winter is undeniably the best time to visit Barbados (so perfect for a winter wedding) it is something of a misconception to say that the summer months should be entirely ruled out due to the hurricane season. Granted, you should avoid September and October when the weather can be quite stormy but for weddings from April to August Barbados honeymoons are definitely an option.

We were very satisfied with our trip to Antigua. We were delighted with the choice of hotel we were suggested, which was ideally located, and the food was really good (we were blown away by the variety of dishes they offered!). The people there were very friendly and cheerful. That's it, really, other than to say thank you for your advice, we had a great holiday and will use definitely use Original Travel for our next trip.
