Sirikoi
Sirikoi is a beautiful lodge built on private land, surrounded by the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, on the northern slopes of Mount Kenya.

Sirikoi has four luxury ensuite tents, a luxury cottage with two ensuite bedrooms (Sirikoi Cottage), as well as a three bedroom house (Sirikoi House). Both the house and the cottage are ideally suited to families or friends travelling together. The living area, infinity pool and veranda overlook extensive lawns, scattered acacia trees and a waterhole frequently visited by a variety of animals.
During the day, there is a range of diverse and adventurous activities on offer from helicopter flights to lion tracking, horse riding, walking on the conservancy, or visit the local colourful Masai in their homesteads.
The day ends with evening sundowners against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kenya, before delicious suppers are served under the stars or next to a roaring fire.

Borana Lodge
Borana Lodge is set on the 35,000-acre Borana Ranch on the edge of the Laikipia Plateau in the central highlands of Kenya.
From the lodge there are panoramic views of Mount Kenya and the surrounding plains. Accommodation is in eight individual cottages, one of which is a double family cottage.
Each has a veranda and is well secluded from its neighbours. Delicious home-grown organic food is served in the central lodge building, where there is also a large fireplace to gather round in the evenings.
The lodge overlooks a dam which serves as a watering hole for all the wildlife in the area, so there is constant activity to watch, including elephants swimming. A wide diversity of wildlife is found at Borana, including big cats, buffalo, giraffe, large herds of plains game and rich birdlife. Activities include game drives (including night drives), guided bush walks, horse-riding and mountain biking.
Alternatively, you can just relax by the pool, enjoy a massage and drink in the stunning scenery.

Borana, which takes its name from the 'Boran' breed of cattle, is also very much a working ranch, so guests have the opportunity to witness the goings on of day-to-day life on the ranch.
Sabuk Lodge
Sabuk sleeps a maximum of twelve guests in thatched rondavels (circular cottages) dotted along the cliff overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River.
The rondavels are open-fronted with private verandas and outstanding views over the plains of Laikipia towards Mount Kenya. Each has an en-suite bathroom with flush loos.
Activities at Sabuk include game drives or guided walking safaris accompanied by Laikipiak Maasai guides. Wildlife around Sabuk includes elephant, kudu, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, lion, leopard and great bird watching. Guests can spend a night or two fly-camping in the wilderness before returning to the comforts of the lodge.
Other activities include picnics by the river, swimming in the natural rock pools or the swimming pool, and night game drives. Guests can also sleep out under the stars on huge wooden beds erected outside each rondavel.

Sosian
A privately-owned game ranch that offers seven double-bedded cottages with en-suite bathrooms set in tropical garden.
'Sosian', the Samburu word for 'Wild Date Palm', combines the tame with the wild; ideal for those looking for a unique and intimate bush experience. The 24,000-acre private, working ranch sits on the Laikipia plateau, 80kms west of Mt Kenya, offering pure wilderness, with more than 250 species of birdlife and an abundance of game species with four of the big five being found at Sosian Ranch, plus rare species such as Wild dogs, Jackson's hartebeest and Grevy's zebra.
Guests are accommodated in an elegant 1940's farmhouse that has been beautifully renovated. The lodge sleeps 14 people with more space for children if needed and has a swimming pool, tennis court, and organic vegetable garden.
Sosian offers a huge range of activities including walking, horse-riding, camel safaris, game-drives, night-drives, fishing, tennis and swimming in the waterfalls behind the ranch house. Sirikoi House
Sirikoi House is an exclusive hire property located on private land in the Laikipia area in Northern Kenya. It is surrounded by the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in a beautiful area of rolling plains, acacia forests, swamps and rivers.
Sirikoi House consists of a main dining & sitting room; a large veranda and fireplace; a separate master bedroom suite and a cottage comprising of two large bedrooms. The house has a separate kitchen, private entrance and its own vehicle. Similar to staying in a lodge, it comes fully staffed and guests are catered for on a fully inclusive basis, including private guide and private game viewing activities.
This is an exclusive retreat for families and groups of friends who wish to be independent and escape to a little piece of Africa that is entirely theirs for the duration for their stay.

Loisaba Cottage
The main Loisaba lodge on the 60,000-acre Loisaba ranch is pretty special, but the wonderfully private cottage is perfect for families or a small group of friends looking for that extra bit of exclusivity.
Loisaba Cottage is approximately six miles from the main lodge, set back from the escarpment in beautifully landscaped gardens with a private swimming pool. The Cottage has three double en-suite rooms with shower and one double/twin room with access to large bathroom via an external staircase.
The cottage is suitable for groups of up to six adults and four children or even eight adults and two children. It also makes for a pretty exclusive honeymoon getaway. Guests have full use of all the main lodge facilities and activities, including the beauty spa, lodge shop, tennis courts, riding, camel treks, mountains bikes, river rafting, balloon safaris, and the lodge main pool.
We recommend staying here for anything from three nights to a week, and ideally in combination with a stay at one of our other private safari houses or finishing off with a week on the coast.

Laikipia Wilderness Camp
Located in Kenyan wilderness, Laikipia is a small, family-run bush camp with great views of Mount Kenya and the Ewaso Narok River.
Arranged on raised platforms around the camp centre, the five large en-suite tents feature private decks facing the sunrise and open-air bathrooms. Wild animals can stroll through the camp as there are no fences, adding to the traditional safari experience.
Relaxed meals are taken al fresco when possible, usually around the open campfire with local bush tales from the hospitable owners, Steve and Annabelle. Guests can sample some of the local game with fresh vegetables from the camp's organic garden.
Walking safaris are Steve's speciality, with short, long and multi-day mobile safari walks tailored to guests' requests. Game and night drives enable guests to encounter a variety of animals, including wild dog tracking in conjunction with the Laikipia Predator Project. To keep the family busy between safari trips, the camp also offers rock climbing, tubing, fishing and Samburu village visits. For an authentic adventure, make sure to spend a night fly camping in the bush, sleeping under warm blankets and fly nets beneath the stars.

Enasoit
Enasoit is a private hire lodge situated on the Laikipia Plateau at the foot of Mount Kenya and is a haven for superb game viewings.
The luxury camp facilitates up to 16 guests with six double/ twin en suite tented cottages. Each cottage has been constructed with local canvas materials, boast fireplaces in all rooms and have cosy sheep skinned seating areas.
Local produce is used in the kitchen were possible and vegetables are picked fresh from the gardens. Lunch can be (and probably should be) enjoyed at the Pool House which is set amongst aloe gardens and situated only a five minutes' drive away (or 20 minutes' walk).
Guests can enjoy dipping in the plunge pool, game viewing from the wooden deck, or curling up in front of the fireplace with drink in hand. The spa room with massage facilities is the perfect way to unwind post safari too.
The nearby watering-hole is home to giraffe, zebra, gazelle and buffalo and to track these beasts a guided game walk or night drive is a must. For something a little more off the beaten track enjoy bush picnics, sun-downers and scenic helicopter flights. Those seeking a taste of Kenyan culture can explore Nanyuki town (which sits exactly on the equator).
